Lent 2010
Details of the Bishop of St Albans’ initiative Challenge 2010 are available here.
As well as encouraging individuals to sign up for their daily text, we will be using the Bishops’ Lent Course Words of Challenge, Words of Life on Monday evenings in Lent and using the weekly bible study to explore what it means for us to engage realistically with Bishop Alan’s charge to go deeper into God, transform communities, and make new disciples.
After Easter we are planning to invite everyone to attend a local Challenge 2010 house-group evening. It will be an informal opportunity for all involved with St Mary’s (at whatever level) to have a say in where you think we should be going in terms of our shared mission and ministry.
